John Golden, Executive Vice President - Chief Information Officer & Business Operations, CNA

John has dual responsibility for CNA’s Information Technology and Worldwide Operations organizations. In this role, John leads CNA’s efforts to integrate technology and business processing into an efficient, flexible and scalable processing platform. In conjunction with his leadership of IT and business processing strategy, John has responsibility for outsourcing, delivering application and infrastructure solutions, and ensuring that technology investments drive CNA’s profitability.

Under John’s leadership, CNA is moving forward on a companywide initiative – the Operating Platform Transformation – to build a more flexible, efficient business infrastructure. In addition, John has championed numerous improvements in billing, collections and other core business processes.

Before joining CNA in 2001, John was with Ameritech/SBC where he was responsible for delivering the company’s Customer Care and Billing capabilities for approximately 30 million customers across Ameritech’s regions.
